Master Choa Kok Sui is revered internationally as the founder of Modern Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga. While Pranic Healing remains an amazing gift, MCKS emphasised the importance of the regular and diligent practice of Arhatic Yoga. MCKS last taught a class on Pranic Healing in 1999… and since then he devoted much of his time to stressing the importance of spiritual development and teaching Arhatic Yoga to his students. Have you ever wondered why the Teacher considered spirituality to be more important?

There is an exciting story that we came across. This may help us understand why spiritual practice may be one of the most essential things in our lives.

Why Spirituality

The Story of the Queen with Four Lovers

Once upon a time, there was a Queen who had four lovers. She loved the fourth lover the most and gave him nothing but the best. She loved the third lover very much and always showed him off. She also loved her second lover. He was her confidant and was always kind, considerate, and patient with her. The Queen’s first lover was a very loyal partner, and although he loved her deeply, she hardly took notice of him.

One day, the Queen fell ill and knew her time was short. She thought of her luxurious life and wondered, I now have four lovers with me, but when I die, I’ll be all alone. Thus, she asked the fourth lover, “I loved you the most. Now that I’m dying, will you follow me and keep me company?” “No way!” replied the fourth lover, and he walked away without another word.
The sad Queen asked the third lover, “I loved you all my life. Now that I’m dying, will you follow me and keep me company?” “No!” replied the third lover. When you die, I’m going to love someone else!”

She then asked the second lover, “I have always turned to you for help. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?” Replied the second lover, “At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.”

Then a voice called out: “I’ll go with you. I’ll follow you no matter where you go.” The Queen looked up, and there was her first lover. He was very skinny as he suffered from neglect. Greatly grieved, the Queen said, “I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!”

In truth, you have four lovers in your life. Your fourth lover is your body. No matter how much time and effort you lavish in making it look good, it will leave you when you die. Your third lover is your possessions, status, and wealth. When you die, it will all go to others. Your second lover is your family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for you, the furthest they can stay by you is up to the grave. And your first lover is your Soul, often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power, and pleasures of the world. However, your Soul is the only thing that will follow you wherever you go.

The Soul and its Journey

One of the most important teachings provided by MCKS is around the doctrine of reincarnation. According to Master Choa, the Soul, in an attempt to grow and evolve, pours or extends a small part of itself into physical and more subtle bodies. The Soul, with its physical and other subtle bodies (or what Master termed the Incarnated Soul), spends a lifetime learning through direct experience. Finally, at the end of a physical lifetime, or at the time of death, the incarnated Soul liberates itself from the bodies and returns to the source (or the Higher Soul), taking the many experiences and lessons learned during the lifetime.

The Soul continuously learns and gradually evolves through this process over countless incarnations. This process continues until the Soul has acquired all the knowledge that it can via physical existence and is liberated from the cycle of birth and death. A Soul who reaches a phase in human evolution is called an Arhat or perfected one (also called Parmahansa in the Hindu tradition and loosely referred to as Sainthood in the Christian tradition).

The critical aspect to understand is given that all souls (including you and me) are incarnated with the purpose of learning, it is of utmost importance to focus on self-development during a lifetime to maximize our learning and make the best use of the spiritual opportunities that have been made available to us. Spiritual practice speeds up evolutionary processes and is responsible for the development of the higher faculties, thereby greatly accelerating one’s personal development.

So, in essence, while it is essential to take care of our body, the relationships with our loved ones, and our finances, it is also wise to look after the soul through a strong focus on inner purification and self-development… because after it, the development of our soul is one of the primary purposes of our existence.

Looking after your Soul

The development of the Soul is one of the main reasons Master stressed the need to balance our material and spiritual lives. This is the primary purpose why Master Choa created Arhatic Yoga. Arhatic Yoga is possibly the greatest courses introduced by Master Choa Kok Sui in this life and one of the greatest gifts given to humanity yet. Arhatic Yoga is a highly advanced spiritual technology that accelerates the Soul’s evolution. By practicing advanced spiritual techniques of Arhatic Yoga, it might be possible to achieve 30-40 years of development in a few years. In short, spiritual practices are the missing key for enabling us to manifest our greatness.

The word “Yoga” basically means union while the word “Arhatic” comes from the word Arhat that refers to a highly evolved being or the perfected one. Arhatic Yoga in this case is a synthesis of the seven types of Yoga (including powerful meditations, purification and breathing techniques) integrated into a step-by-step system to rapidly and safely accelerate your spiritual development.

Arhatic Yoga aims to enable people with various religious backgrounds and beliefs to access the inner Thwteachings, kept secret for centuries. The system has been designed to make it possible to pursue the spiritual path while living a “normal life.” It means that by practicing Arhatic Yoga, you need not abandon your everyday life, career, and relationships to develop spiritually. Additionally, Arhatic Yoga enables you to further cope with the daily difficulties and challenges of the contemporary lifestyle. All you need to do is to make yourself available for the course, practice the teachings, and truly transform your life.
Arhatic Yoga is phenomenal. Its power is beyond imagination. If you were looking for one thing that could transform your life, this is it. Thousands of Pranic Healers across the globe have decided to transform their lives. We joyfully urge you to join the Arhatic family. All you need to do is take a small step… and then you will realize that life will never be the same.
