Pranic Healing for Happiness
The psychological and philosophical pursuit of happiness began in China, India and Greece nearly 2,500 years ago with Confucius, Buddha, Socrates, and Aristotle. Even after two millennia there remain millions of people who are unhappy. To put this into perspective, Master Choa Kok Sui’s Meditation on the Twin Hearts is a technique that we have taught to thousands of people across the years. During the start of the meditation, the practitioners are asked to think about two happy events in their life. Strangely this is something that most adults struggle to do!
There are multiple reasons why people are unhappy. Bad life experiences, strained relationships, lack of kindness and love, and sometimes the lack of meaning in life are some of the common reasons.
The Link Between Happiness and Health
According to recent medical studies, up to 80% of ailments can be traced to “avoidable emotional and psychological problems” The heart of most of our problems today is at the emotional level, problems related to stress; worry, tension and anxiety are the root cause of most of today’s ailments. When you are stressed or worried or anxious or have low self-esteem you are unlikely to be happy. Today emotional and mental problems are proving to have a debilitating effect on the lives of people. We hear more and more about people becoming depressed. In response to this problem, MCKS came up with Pranic Psychotherapy.
Pranic Psychotherapy is simply Pranic Healing applied in preventing, alleviating and treating psychological ailments. According to MCKS, Psychological ailments are basically the result of accumulation of negative thoughts, emotions and traumatic experiences, which are lodged in the Auras and Chakras. These energies are often difficult to release, requiring months or even years of traditional psychotherapy to experience any improvement. But Pranic Psychotherapy offers you the ability to quickly and safely release these crippling energetic patterns. The result will be peaceful emotions, harmonizing relationships, positive thinking patterns and good self-esteem. Using the tools of Pranic Psychotherapy, these can be disintegrated helping the patient overcome his emotional problems much more quickly and easily. Pranic Psychotherapy also offers you the ability to quickly and safely release negative thoughts and emotions like fear, anger and resentment that may be limiting you from your greater potential. All of these together contribute to a sense of calmness, inner peace, and happiness.
Pranic Psychotherapy has also been very effective in solving problems related to addictions to alcohol and drugs. Ultimately the root of such addictions lie in the fact that people are unhappy. According to a recent testimonial by Vincent Mills (Senior Addictions Counselor, CASC, EFTADV, New York), with Pranic Healing treatment being used in conjunction to traditional psychotherapy “we can see positive results often very quickly, and patients love the immediate calming yet energizing effects.”
Additionally MCKS gave us the Meditation on Twin Hearts, which possibly gets the largest number of glowing testimonials. The meditation is amazing in its simplicity and power. The guided meditation takes around 20 minutes to complete, and just about every practitioner reports a sense of inner-peace and greater happiness following the meditation. One of the reasons for this is the powerful flushing out effect from the meditation which quickly and safely releases stress and other negative emotions.
Research studies on meditations have shown a relationship between production of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, oxytocin, and dopamine and happiness. Dr. Neus Raines reported use of qualitative EEG study using newer technological methods including the P300 and sLoreta during Meditation on Twin Hearts. All experienced meditators showed increased scores, emerging positive emotions such as happiness and calmness and decrease anxiety after the meditation. The P300 values, which indicate faster reaction times changed significantly post meditation.
And finally, studies across the demonstrate a close link between spiritual practice and happiness. Spirituality is closely related to the discovery of greater meaning in our lives. Pranic Healing provides a bridge to spirituality given that the system eventually leads the seeker to Arhatic Yoga. Finally, there is no greater transformatory factor in the world than spiritual light.
